Who We Are

This private practice is grounded in depth, reflection, and authentic human connection. Our work is intentional and guided by a deep respect for the complexity of human experience. It reflects a modern approach to therapy while remaining rooted in timeless therapeutic traditions, where contemporary perspectives meet the enduring value of reflection, relational understanding, and meaningful inner work.

We value:
→ Understanding over pathologizing
→ Curiosity over judgment
→ Long-term growth over surface-level solutions
→ Real human presence over blank-slate therapy

Therapy is approached as a collaborative, relational, and confidential process where your inner world, personal history, and relational patterns are explored with care, nuance, and psychological safety.

This practice is committed to providing affirming, respectful care to individuals and couples of all identities and backgrounds. Clients of all races, cultures, genders, sexual orientations, and relationship structures are welcomed. Differences in identity and experience are honored as meaningful aspects of who you are, and therapy is approached with cultural humility, openness, and respect.

The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”—Carl Jung

Meet Rifa

Rifa Wahl is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She works with adults and couples navigating relationship challenges, intimacy concerns, grief, trauma, and identity development. Her work often focuses on helping clients develop a stronger sense of self while making sense of the emotional and relational patterns in their lives while feeling less alone in the process.

Rifa’s approach is integrative, relational, and trauma-informed. Her work draws from psychodynamic and existential perspectives while incorporating evidence-based approaches such as DBT, ACT, narrative therapy, parts work (IFS), and somatic practices depending on each client’s needs. Much of her work centers on relational therapy with individuals and couples, supporting clients in developing healthier communication, deeper emotional awareness, and more secure connections in their relationships.

Before becoming a therapist, Rifa worked in finance and later gained clinical experience working at higher levels of care with individuals struggling with eating disorders and body image concerns. This work shaped her understanding of how closely emotions, identity, and relationships are intertwined, and how deeply human beings need connection to thrive.

Rifa works with adults from diverse backgrounds and approaches therapy with thoughtfulness, and a collaborative framework designed to support meaningful and lasting change.

Outside the therapy room, Rifa enjoys traveling, discovering new places, sunsets, scuba diving whenever she gets the chance, and listening to house music — something she finds both energizing and grounding.
